About Intersection

Intersection's Multidisplinary Resident Artist programs are at the core of our mission and vision. We are committed to providing artists across disciplines with the opportunity and resources to experiment and develop new work in a nurturing environment; to engage deeply with our community; and to further dialogue about the role that art plays in our world by sharing the process of making new work with a broad audience. The program is designed to expand and deepen the potential for local artists and audiences to participate in the visioning and programming of the organization in susbstantial long-term ways. Intersection works with artists in all stages of their career for extended periods and emphasize the process of art making.

Our current resident artists are:

  • Campo Santo (Margo Hall, Luis Saguar, Sean San Jose & Michael Torres)
  • Erika Chong Shuch & the Erika Shuch Performance Project
  • Howard Wiley
  • The Living Word Project (the theatre program of Youth Speaks) & Marc Bamuthi Joseph
  • Chinaka Hodge
  • Dan Wolf
  • Scott Chernis
