DEEP WATER, EXEC PRODUCER LIZBETH HASSE PRESENT
Joe Orrach's superb new solo show
IN MY CORNER
San Francisco knows Joe as one of the power acts at Teatro Zinzanni from 2000 to 2006. Actor, performer, dancer, singer and US Air Force welterweight boxing champion, Joe Orrach has performed worldwide on stage, television and in motion picture features. Joe started on the streets of NYC, at 72nd and Broadway, where Gregory Hines found him two decades ago.
This is Orrach's first solo show and audiences will recognize his energy. Joe's coming of age story winds through the riffs and beats of jazz, Latin and rock n roll. Born into a family dominated on one side by a line of Puerto Rican boxers and sweetened on the other by a tradition of Italian food, gesture and song, Joe presents a personal story in a high-powered evening of drama, music and movement. In this dramatic solo performance, Joe is accompanied by a jazz ensemble, led by musical director and world class pianist Matthew Clark. The show is as fun and full of life as the performer who created it.

Intersection's Presentation Series is a chance for members of the community to show their works at Intersection for the Arts: Both the 81 seat Theatre and the 800 square foot gallery space are open for rental. Please contact the Technical Director at 415-626-2787 x104 for more information.
